The Intel Global Communications team plays a pivotal role in how the world perceives the company, helping it earn recognition for shaping the modern world, across multiple fields.The America’s Communications Lead tells Intel’s story across the America region, leading country-specific campaigns and key corporate initiatives to make them locally relevant and successful. What you will do…The successful candidate will work in the global communications team as America’s Communications Lead, reporting fixed-line to the VP, Global Communications and dotted line to the America’s Marketing Director. This key role is responsible for the planning, organization, execution and management of an integrated communications plan across America. Success requires working in close collaboration with multiples stakeholders, including but not limited to the global communications group, America’s senior management and America’s country/sales teams to ensure alignment with Intel´s business, products and brand´s priorities. Candidate must be capable of creating an empowered and high performance communications team, working with direct reports and influencing other team members. This leader is expected to put together the strategy and lead the creative process, press relations and execution. The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of the IT industry, computer science and be passionate about technology in order to be able to communicate effectively to different audiences and work in close collaboration with the respective Marketing Managers in the territory. Additionally a knowledge of Intel's product strategies and roadmap as well as key industry topics will be required.Develop and implement strategies and content for communications plan based on Intel´s business priorities and Intel positioning across AmericasDevelop and implement integrated PR campaigns through storytelling that aligns to the company positioning, key narrative and Intel´s business priorities across AmericasMap and develop new communications audiences through storytellingBuild trusted relationships across the America’s media landscape focused on PR, corporate, key influencersManage a communications budget that maximizes resultsFONT faceIntel


At least 7 years’ experience in communications, PR, online PR strategy for a global technology company, managing a regionFundamental understanding of the technology industry, Intel's business and ecosystemKnowledge of press, media, influencer and thought leadership environment in the AmericasDemonstrated ability to plan and manage complex projects, lead cross-functional teams, and work effectively with team members under tight deadlinesExcellent academic background in marketing and communicationsStrong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork, initiative, creativity and integrityAt least 5 years in leading a team of up to 5 direct reports throughout geographic area, as well as influencing other team members. Manage team to specific objectives, metrics Strong public speaking skillsFluent in English and Spanish (written and oral), bonus PortugueseProven experience managing budgets and reporting resultsProven experience managing regional teams and regional agenciesMust be well organized, detail-oriented, thoughtful, proactive and assertiveCandidates to be located in Mexico City
